My design work is constantly copied by someone I have only heard a name. In my opinion, copying a design work is only for learning, not to be your way of thinking. Designing is a method such that an individual reflects the true self of someone.
By all means, I am not saying copying someone’s design work is bad. However, it is inappropriate to do such a thing without adapting and innovating the idea being copied. It is unprofessional and disgraceful. Someone doing things like that should be criticized and he or she should be ashamed.

For instance, as far as I can tell, that person constantly copies my web design style, including context having used on the sites. The worst thing is to copy the (PHP) source code of the homemade content management system that I have written for the official website Debsirin School even though it clearly states on the web page that the whole work, including the PHP code, is copyrighted by the computer center, the computer club (as known as DSCC) and me. The code was not meant to be used without the permission of one of three copyright holders. It shouldn’t have been a big deal if and only if that person hasn’t claimed the work I created. Regardless to the face that the code is not open-source, it is unprofessional and disgraceful to claim someone’s work as his/her own work.
In conclusion, copying design work is not a wrong doing. However, copying and claiming someone’s work is unprofessional, disgraceful and annoying.
