Talk at ANS Wireless

Last Friday, I had a chance to give a talk at ANS Wireless Inc., the owner of Chicky Club (mobile multimedia service), in Bangkok. This talk was actually a practice for the real one for the Computer Science Club of the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada this Fall. It took about one hour and a half. I mainly concentrated on errors in their web design like inappropriate uses of technology and unfriendly design (e.g. incompatibility with many browsers, bad navigation, possible causes of vulnerability on clients and servers etc.). Because my brother knows their development team and he tells me that they misunderstands about AJAX, therefore, I've given them a lecture about the basic concept of AJAX, hacking and networking. Eventually, I also suggest them possible solutions.

In my opinion, it was a fun and interesting talk. It also made me nervous because this was my first official academic talk and all of the audiences were hell a lot older than me. Eventually, they all listened me silently and decided to renovate everything.
